The Pikesville Middle School Library Media Program supports the school’s mission and vision to motivate and empower learners to experience academic and personal success. Our library cultivates a supportive learning environment using resources and instruction which are aligned with the classroom curriculum, school goals and national library media standards, and which nurture individual interests, social emotional development and a culture of reading. Students have access to a variety of high-quality digital and print resources and technology tools within and beyond the school day, in order to become effective and responsible users of information.

Our annual book fair will take place in the library from Dec. 1 st- Dec. 5th from 8:15 AM-2:15 PM each day. Students are only permitted through the doors if they have a pass from a teacher. Passes will also be handed out during all lunches. The fair accepts cash, credit cards, Cash App., Apple pay. On the fair homepage, there is a place where parents/family members can add money to a student's Scholastic eWallet. The eWallet is like an account. When the student gets to the register, they simply say their name and their eWallet balance shows up in their account. It's a great way for students to make purchases without bringing in cash or a credit card to school!
