Role of Safety Assistants
Safety assistants are an important part of maintaining the safety and security of our school building. These staff members work with the administrative team to maintain order and to support students who need help following school procedures.
Their job includes:
•Monitoring hallway traffic
• Managing the Alternative Learning Center
• Monitoring lunch shifts/bus duty
• Providing additional student support (academic and social/emotional)
• Assisting with mediating minor student issues
