Middle school social studies encompasses a broad range of subjects including world history, U.S. history, geography, civics, and economics. It builds upon foundational knowledge from elementary school, preparing students for more complex concepts in high school. Topics include ancient civilizations, world cultures, the development of nations, and the structure and function of government.
